A split system has two main parts, the indoor head unit and the outdoor compressor unit. In the back-to-back installation method, the indoor head unit is positioned inside on an external wall and directly beneath it on the outside is the outdoor compressor unit with the pipework and electrical interconnectors running neatly in PVC ducting between the two parts.
Console split systems – these are floor or ceiling mounted air conditioning unit for places with limited spaces such as excessive amounts of windows along one wall making wall mounting impossible.
Mitsubishi Electric console split system air conditioners are designed for installation at floor level, providing more even heating comfort.
Console split system air conditioners from Mitsubishi Electric are available in two types, the standard MFZ-KA-VA series and the MFZ-FB VAH Hyper-Heating series. Unlike conventional air conditioning systems, the HYPER-HEATING Series do not loose heating capacity when it is cold outside. A Mitsubishi Electric hyper-heating Heat Pump will deliver the same amount of heat whether the outside temperature is 7°C or –15°C.

What’s an Inverter?
Through new, advanced technology, Inverter air conditioners are more economical to operate and quieter to run than conventional units. They can handle greater extremes in temperature, are smoother and more stable in operation, and reach the desired temperature more quickly than conventional air conditioners.
The Inverter component allows the outdoor unit to vary its speed and output to match the required capacity of the indoor unit. Thus, the Inverter model can achieve 30% more operating efficiency than conventional models and therefore, is much cheaper to run.
